When the prodigal son in the Bible was spotted on the road, the father wasted no time waiting for his son to arrive. “While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son [and] threw his arms around him” (Luke 15:20).  Our mission at Alpha Women’s Center is to run out to the lost and broken who are “still a long way off” and offer the compassion of Jesus and the reassuring embrace of hope.

Instead of waiting for women to find us, our mobile clinics go directly to the places with the most urgent needs—the abortion clinics in the Twin Cities.  There we encounter women in the depths of loneliness, despair, and fear.  Alpha Women’s Center offers help and hope to women with unintended pregnancies and wraps around them with holistic care and support.
